Research Conducted by the Faculty and Students of LSU CC&E

Eric Mulbach gazing into a microscope.CC&E faculty and students conduct research all over the globe. Our close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico allows us to conduct fieldwork and analysis on  the coastal oceanography and ecology of the Florida Everglades, Mississippi River Delta, the continental shelf, and nearby estuaries and wetlands.

The research labs are located in one of LSU’s newest facilities, the Energy, Coast & Environment Building. It features 231 offices, 81 state of the art research laboratories, a 200-seat auditorium, small and large multipurpose conference facilities, and a new interactive media center/classroom.

The CC&E grants database is found here.
